In lieu of a recent spate of incidents, it can be noted that there is no dearth of miscreants in the society. Surely there are good samaritans left in this world, but it is left to the public’s discretion to judge them.
The trigger may be a celebrity’s death, a natural disaster, a power cut or an accident on the road and the like. These miscreants make use of such commotion and go on a robbing spree spreading pandemonium on the streets bringing the city to the brink of destruction. Instead of bemoaning such tragedies, stringent action should be taken against the perpetrators of such crime to thwart such efforts of theirs and nip them in the bud before they grow into an unyielding monster.
In the case of an accident, they are well masqueraded as a good samaritan robbing the belongings of the hapless victim- be it a wallet, jewellery and what not.
Such behaviour can well be attributed to the fact that they live on a meagre income and have an innate ‘passion’ for violence. An example should be made out of them which serves as a deterrent for their future generations to abstain from crime.
